newlin, good for you to consider continuing in school right away! I am back in school for my BSN after ten years of experience in cardiac medicine (I was a diploma grad) and I wish I had gone back sooner. I plan on continuing through my MSN and then EdD. Go for it! While it is sage advice to learn your craft and get settled into your career, as maikranz suggests, surely you can take one class a semester? Studying is a skill too, and you may lose your knack if you take too much of a break. (Can you tell what challenged me in the beginning?) Good luck to you and God Bless.
