@Nay11 I took a picture of the confirmation, but I'm not sure whether it is acceptable/appropriate for me to post a picture of it online. However, at the bottom first there are checkboxes to indicate which semester you will be enrolling in. Next are checkboxes for part-time or full-time. There is no checkbox for not accepting admission, but there is a blank space for indicating why admission is not being accepted. Hope that helps. FWIW, I'm sure if you enclosed the deposit they will assume you are accepting the seat. If there is anything wrong with the way you completed the form, I would expect them to contact you to get a correctly completed form. I don't think they'd give your seat away.

Woohoo! I received my acceptance letter the day before yesterday. I was so happy to finally receive it. I sent off my seat acceptance and deposit right away. My letter was dated Nov. 10 and was postmarked the next day. It took a bit longer to get to me than I would have expected (I am fairly close). I guess it's time to buckle in and get ready for the ride... P.S. I hope everyone waiting hears back soon. Waiting is the pits.

My status has finally been updated on SURFS - yay! I am also provisional-admit. I am taking my final class, Chemistry, this semester.

afowler77 - you got in to UMSON once, you can get in again. I don't understand why Towson won't just accept your transfer English credits. Why do you have to pay $90, too??? It all seems a bit much, but I guess we have to work with the schools' bureaucratic systems. What does ARTSYS say? Anyway, it's good you have something else to take your mind off the waiting. Have fun with your sister's baby shower!

And my status still hasn't changed even though I received a phone call. Hmm - I don't think I was dreaming this morning . I wonder if different people in admissions are given groups of applicants to notify and some update the online system first, while others call first... Congrats to those accepted and good wishes to those still waiting to hear.

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting, but I have been following this thread daily (more like hourly - lol) and poring over the site for any info relating to UMSON. It has been such a help to read your thoughts, stats, etc. My status online (SURFS) has NOT changed (hmmm), however, I did receive a call this morning from UMSON telling me that I was accepted to the Baltimore campus for Spring 2015. I am cautiously excited (I need to see my status change to really accept that it is real). Because it has been so helpful to me to read others' stats, I'm sharing mine. I am a second Bachelor's applicant. My overall GPA is a 3.0, due primarily to grades from my first degree (EE) during which I had one really bad semester. Since then my grades have been straight-As, so my prerequisite GPA is 4.0 and my science GPA is 4.0. My TEAS score was 98.7% (details below). I don't have any healthcare experience. TEAS Adjusted Individual Total Score: 98.7% TEAS Reading: 97.6% TEAS Math: 96.7% TEAS Science 100% TEAS English: 100% Um, I guess that's it. I was also accepted to Towson and just turned in my $200 deposit to them yesterday (hmpf!). I hope everyone waiting hears back from UM soon. I know the wait can be agonizing. Good luck guys!
