Hello Everyone, I created a closed FB group for everyone who will be starting GW's FNP this fall as a way to share information. https://www.facebook.com/groups/958458380864731/

On the Gweb website, under the est. cost of attendance, it states that books and supplies are $1,200. Does GW automatically charge you for books and then send them to you? Or are we able to buy books on our own? I was planning on buying all of our books on Amazon and not the bookstore.

For those of you who will be starting the MSN/FNP program in the fall, what professors/CRN did you register for? For NURS 6207: Evidence Based Practice, I registered for CRN: 67521 and CRN: 65121 for Adv Phy. Also, I was wondering, how would you guys feels about starting a private fb group? I believe that GW has to send you the link directly. I am wondering if you did not receive it because you are doing the ADN-MSN/FNP program and I am doing the MSN/FNP? Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe they have separate webinars for each program?

Has anyone heard anything recently from GW? It has been a month since I received the last email from them.

I am ready for more information. I really do not like waiting. Below, I have attached the link for our first semester of classes. Mel02 asked about how will we know which professors to take. I emailed Kayla regarding the length of orientation. She believes that it will only be held from Monday to Wednesday.

Part-time.

Did anyone register for classes today? I believe that one of the emails stated that registration for Fall 2015 starts today.

What does CWO stand for?

I just saw on GW's website that orientation will be held August 10-14th. I really did not think that orientation would take place over so many days. I'm hoping that they will split the week up between the NP programs and other nursing graduate programs.

GW's MSN FNP has both a fall and spring start for part-time. The full-time start is only offered during the fall.
