  1. Good luck to all of you! You are taking a giant step into the world of medicine. I have been an RN for 12 years and enjoy seeing new RN's joining us. My advice is this, whether it is asked for or not, as far as the NCLEX is concerned the test one of you might take is not the same as someone else. If you can take a prep class before you take the NCLEX then do it. I am from Ohio. In 1996, we were the second class to ever take the test online in Ohio. When you computer shuts down during your test, don't freak out, it just means you are done. It will give you every opportunity to pass it. Don't read more into the questions than what is already there. Just answer the question as is. Again, Good Luck!
