Hi! I am considering continuing my education to become an NP. I was just hoping to get some thoughts on this idea. Ive noticed that a majority of programs are now doctorate programs....Is this worth investing into? Are we going to be required to have our doctorate as an NP in the near future? Or should I just get my Masters with NP certification? Also, I was told to get my education in family nurse practioner as this is a broader spectrum of nursing, hence allowing for a broader range of job options. However, my goal is to work in women's health. Is it risky to get my doctorate specifically in women's health in regards to job opportunities? Thanks! I appreciate any insight into the topic! Jessica
