Health assessment class
Hi I am going back to nursing school after a five year break, I will be taking health assessment with lab. It has been so long since I took my a&p, fundamentals, pathophysiology ,pharmacology and peds/ob. Please give me advise as to how I would succeed in my health assessment class and lab knowing that I have been away from school for some time now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

Your feedbacks would be appreciated please -resuming BSN program with children
Hi, I wanted some advise as to what am I suppose to do. I was in a BSN program for 3 years, I withdrew from the program in my junior year in 2010 b/c of family problems at home. Now I am thinking of going back and finish what I started. I spoke with the nursing chair at my school and she said she will accept me and I will just pick up from where I left off. I had taken fundamental of nursing, ped/ob and pharmacology and pathophysiology, nursing concepts....so I will start with med surg 1. My question is will I be able to pick up at that level, even though the chair person trusts me. I feel like I do not remember anything from my previous courses and I will have a hard time with the material at this level. I was an average student by the way, I have Bs and B- in some of the nursing courses. Right now I am 27 and have 2 kids 3 yo and 1 yo. having to take care of my 2 children and going to school at the same time scares me too. sorry for the long post and thanks in advance..

General Education courses expiry?
Hi just wondering for how long are your general education credits good for? Do they expire after a while? I went to a private 4 year nursing school 5 years ago and withdrew from the university after completing about 95 credits. Are my general education credits still good if I go back to that school? thanks

Former BSN student confused whether to go back to BSN or start LPN?
Thanks I know you are right but at the same time I am thinking that if I go back to my old BSN program they will probably start me off from med surg, I feel like I have forgotten everything and it will be a challenge to start at that level. Thanks again I will keep looking at my options.

Former BSN student confused whether to go back to BSN or start LPN?
HiI am new to this site. So I was in the BSN program from 2006 to 2009. I took and passed the nursing fundamentals, peds/ob, pharmacology, pathophysiology. Then i was in the middle of my med surge course when I left school due to family issues. Now I am married and have 2 kids a 3 year old and a 10 months old. I want to go back to school but I am not sure whether to go to 12 months lpn program or the BSN program where I left off. I know that the BSN is better but I am afraid that I might have a hard time because it has been 4 years that I am out of school. So I thought may be i should try the lpn program since they start from the beginning I won't have as much of a hard time. So any advises, suggestions would be appreciated please. Also when I was in this BSN program I finished all of my general Ed courses I only had my nursing courses left 1 1/2 years worth of classes were left when I left. Thanks
