    Hi I'm a student nurse, please could somebody check if this is correect: Amoxicillin can be prescribed (oral solution) 500mg 3 times daily for a 7year old child, max 30mg/kg http://www.evidence.nhs.uk/formulary/bnfc/current/5-infections/51-antibacterial-drugs/511-penicillins/5113-broad-spectrum-penicillins/amoxicillin ...who weighs 23kg, would be 23 x 30 = 690 solution 400mg/5mL so he'll get 690mg/400mg x 5mL = 8.6mL 8.6mL would be administered 3 times daily Prescribed to treat acute bronchitis I seriously appreciate any help :) Thank you
