yes plus its 4th of july...so the holiday might also play into when we hear any news.

I know that you applied for burns as well. did u interview monday or tuesday? have you heard anything?.... i dont think that too many people even interviewed for the burn unit...When our 4 people were interviewing a guy next to me asked the manager how many people they will be taking to fill positions and she said, "If I come down here and am impressed by 5 ill hire 5, If I come down here and am impressed by 0 ill hire 0." ... she was very hard to read and body language was a little "uninterested" but they were asking me questions off of my reume so i really have no idea the waiting is brutal.

The match day email said we would hear a response about decisions 24-72 hours after match day was complete on Tuesday.... then the manager on the service line said we would hear something back by the end of next week

I applied to the burn icu this past Tuesday june 27 and still have not heard anything. The manager at the day of the interview said by the end of next week. My friend who also interviewed for burn icu has not heard anything either. My other friend from the previous semester said she got a call the next day for an offer in ortho trauma. There were not many people who interviewed for burn trauma... the waiting is killing me. Should we email them?

Bon is (board of nursing) I did see it on the website for a declaratory ... Basically if ur background check does not come back absolutely clear you can still be admitted but you have to go through them

Bon is the board of nursing and when u get a cleared background check after being finger printed they send you a blue card n the mail which means ur cleared. And how and where do you go to pay the $200?

I don't know, but hopefully they send out info soon because it does take time to get test results from titers, drug test, and your BON cleared blue card. I have them all completed because I was an alternate last application process and we still had to complete everything the people who got accepted did in case they chose us last minute. But the BON blue card took a few weeks to get back in the mail, get health insurance, etc. and the HEB B vax is a series of vax that you can't speed up the process for.... and considering summer semester starts in a couple of months... this should be interesting...I don't want to be running around like a mad person trying to get these things done and trying to find/buy books, etc.

I was wait listed "an alternate" for the SPRING 2015 session. and I just got my e-mail today for acceptance summer 2015! :)

I wonder when they will start sending the notices for people who applied for fall. I know their official date is sometime in April but obviously they do send them out earlier. Congrats to everyone who got an email today! Now I'm getting nervous ... Wait for fall 2015 notices...

I applied for the spring2015 and was waitlisted. I applied again for the FALL2015 ... now im wondering if I should have applied for the summer 2015...or if they automatically also put you in that pool. b/c the deadline was jan. 16 2015 so I would imagine it is the same but either way I have a green circle on my MYUT account. Last time they notified us by e-mail and it came in waves, or groups at a time, it did drag out for a total of 4 months for people who were waitlisted to see if they would be a last minute acceptance as an alternate.

Anyone who applied for the FALL 2015 session will NOT hear back until march/april. I applied last session SPRING 2015 to the UT HOUSTON nursing BSN program and was accepted on the alternates list and re-applied for the FALL 2015. until then we wait... last time they just sent me an E-mail through the e-mail I have provided on the application with my "acceptance" as well as when the alternates list had ended.

I agree! It is what it is at this point but I am also going to apply to the lonestar cyfair program when applications open up in case I don t get into this one. You have to eventually get accepted right? Lol

That's what I was thinking... But new group of applicants... New range of scores. My gap is only in the 3.2 range and I made decent scores on hesi except for anatomy (which I made both A's in AP 1and 2)I got a 70 ... Half of my questions they asked me were fetal related .. R u kidding me?!? What luck. My teachers never taught it and I briefly studied it but did not focus on it. Meh we shall see what happens. God has a plan for us all its in his hands now

08:02 pm by marz1 Summertime, did you retake or are you retaking any classes? --last semester I applied even though the requirements were to have a minimum GPA as well as a C or better in all of your classes I had all the required pre-reqs but I had a D in sociology so I applied anyways and still made it on the alternates list and during that time last semester I re took sociology and got an A so then I just recently applied

The fall 2015 Will be my second time applying as I applied last semester .... Let the wait begin ....í ½í²†í ½í²†.... Breatheí ½í²¨í ½í²¨ no stress

I just have to ask... is everyone referring to the UTHSC in Houston, tx and ... I took the HESI which I see everyone discussing the TEAS...I already applied to the UT Houston location for my second time the other day and sent my transcripts over just want to make sure I am in and following the correct thread

I just applied for my 2nd time the other day.... its going to be a long wait to feb....
