UCF 2015 FALL BSN traditional program
wow i am glad to see that there are more comments from other people! I have been MIA from this thread for a bit due to some personal reasons but I did get my application done. But my application is still under review for my pre-req's.. I don't know if I should I be worried or not.. how long did it take for you guys to get that requirement checked?... I actually don't feel that great about my app because when I took the teas for the final time for this program I earned a 79.3% :/ which isn't competitive at all (my stats are Cum. GPA: 3.73; Pre. Req. GPA: 3.84) so now I am definitely going to apply to SSC's concurrent program because that will give me a chance to take the TEAS one more time before the April date. @tharper1983 I know your applying to SSC's program too because I saw that you started a thread for it, I was wondering if you know if I have to attend an information session prior to applying or just in general ( I know its mandatory to attend one but can it be after you apply, I don't live in the orlando area so I was wondering) If anyone has answers to these questions I would appreciate it :)

UCF 2015 FALL BSN traditional program
Thank you for all the info! I definitely might be using your email so thanks for that too, I also went with chem for the fourth science lol but I'm not sure I want to put my current Teas score because its not competitive :/ I mean obviously I am going to send them the one that I am taking soon, so do you think it matters if the scores don't match up? I know I have until Feb 15th to send my score so I don't think it would...

UCF 2015 FALL BSN traditional program
Good luck to you as well! I'm getting so nervous cause my pre-req gpa isn't a 4.0 :/ do you think I have a good chance with my gpa? I definitely think you do with your 4.0. Also if u don't mind telling me how you studied for the Teas test? I'm taking mine one more time in February to be more competitive, I am just not the best when it comes to standardized test but I'm really trying to hit the 85 mark so any tips would be appreciated :) I can't believe the application window is about to open, I graduated with my AA in the summer as well so I'm just ready to start!

November/ December 2014 TEAS Exam Takers
I took my teas this week and though I only got a 71% (I need atleast a 78% for my program) I feel better about taking it again because the test was a lot easier then the online practice test like you guys said. I scored the lowest in reading which is crazy because I've always been really good in reading. Logical inferences were what tripped me up, and the similarities of two options for the main idea :/ I just couldn't figure out which was the best option. Science was random but not that difficult to me, the TEAS book helped but I got a lot of earth questions instead of things that I really studied for like mitosis meiosis, DNA, RNA etc; it was vey odd, so I just did the best I could (I got a 72% in that section). My only hope is that next time I don't get a really hard form of the test, regardless I'm gonna study my butt off this month so I can take it early January. I hope I can get well above the requirement for my school! If you guys have any tips on how I can increase my score in reading I'd appreciate it :)

TEAS THIS THURSDAY, HELP Please!!
I learned chemical equations a while ago and I have been reviewing them but I feel like I just struggle with the whole neutralization aspect of it ugh so l’m hoping there’s not a lot of that on the test lol. I think if you focus on the Roman/Arabic numerals for an hour you’ll have it down pat, because I was new to Arabic numerals and I just used the book and watched kwashwami’s youtube video on it (look him up he’s great!) and I was set. I am a complete nervous wreck about this test too, I just hope on the day I can be calm and just do it without spazzing eekk. I wish you the best, I am sure you’ll do fine!

TEAS THIS THURSDAY, HELP Please!!
Hi guys! I take my teas test Thursday and I am super nervous :/ I have been studying on and off for two months, really becoming serious this last month all while using the ATI official study manual and the McGraw-Hill teas app to study and I have even purchased the two official ATI practice tests. After taking them both and earning scores in the 60's I don't feel confident about taking the test at all. After reviewing what I got wrong on form A of the official practice test and retaking it and earning a 74% (I don't use this second score as gage of where I am because I don't know how much of that was just me memorizing what I got wrong the first time) I thought I would do better on form B but I scored a lower 60 then I did on form A the first time. I have no idea what to do at this point, so if anyone out there has any words of encouragement or advice I would appreciate it because I am starting to feel really defeated. And for people that have already taken the teas test I have some questions that I would love some insight on; on your teas test did u feel like there were a lot of chemical reaction questions in the science part? What do you think I should focus my study time more towards in regards to that section? Were there a lot of math based questions in your reading section or were there more questions about the passage? That stuff really slowed me down. Also in the math section did you feel like you were running out of time due to the level of difficulty of the questions? Because during the practice test I always felt like I was running out of time ugh! Thank you in advance for any comment or replies (I know it's a lengthy post I am just kind of venting over here lol..hope to be hearing from some of you )

November/ December 2014 TEAS Exam Takers
Congrats on your score! That's amazing honestly that your above average cause I just took practice test B and my over all score was a 60% it was so difficult to me and I have been studying so much you can only imagine my disappointment. My question for you is did u feel like there were a lot of chemical reaction questions in the science part? What do u think I should focus my study time more towards in regards to that section? Were there a lot math based questions in your reading section or were there more questions about the passage? That stuff really slowed me down. Also in the math did you feel like u were running out of time due to the level of difficulty of the questions? cause during the practice test I always felt like I was running out of time ugh! I know this a lot of questions lol sorry it's just that I take my test next week and I'm kinda freaking out, any response will be much appreciated. I feel really let down by my most recent score so I'm hoping that studying the book more and getting more insight will prepare me for this test.
