  1. I just added myself on there! I'll more than likely just start posting on there now. I hope more people join!! :)
  2. I was thinking about starting a Facebook page since I made this post and had good results. I know the class before us created a Facebook page. Let me know if you don't make one.
  3. Yeah!!! Woo!! Congrats!! I can ask my landlord for everyone! I do know there's a house for rent but there needs to be 3 roommates if you guys want to find others
  4. I live in the white coat area now.. I actually posted my apt online because I'm moving to college town. But I already subleased my room to someone. I could ask my landlord if she has anything open for this area and if so then I'll let you know.
  5. YEAH!!!! congrats!!!!!! I called them a few weeks ago and as long as you haven't taken out your "lifetime" loan money which is total of like $57,000.. You'll get 12,500 for the whole year... but thats all that you can get from federal loans! But so far I think we have to wait for our student packets which Nancy said they would mail them next week. I know we have to do private loans for the rest.
  6. I got accepted!! Woo!! I got a phone call this afternoon!! I already live in Rochester so I know a few things so if you have any questions let me know! Maybe email?!? So excited!! Good luck to everyone else! Let us know when you find out details!!!
  7. Thanks for calling!! And good luck to everyone!!
  8. I know! Each day I've been holding my phone and taking it wherever I have been going.. Ugh next week will be 12 weeks since my interview so I'm starting to worry now. I know I shouldn't have, but I put all my cards into Rochester and I hope I didn't miss my chance becaus do couldn't pull things together for May.. But so far I haven't heard of anyone getting a phone call or getting anything in the mail.
  9. Well I applied for the September start date but they accepted me for May. I couldn't start in May because they called me only 3 weeks before May 18th and I couldn't finish everything in time. I was told I would go back into the pool for September but I haven't heard anything yet. I'm starting to have a few doubts but I'm not even sure if they have started making the calls yet. Has anyone heard anything yet from Rochester? I was told they start calls in May and into June.
  10. Mine was also like that, as in telling me what to expect and what I'd be doing. Just like you, I'm not sure if it was a bad thing or good thing but I hope we will all start hearing from them in May! I seriously can't wait any longer!! Lol
  11. Hey! So I live in the white coat area now and there is still a room free. We are only looking for a female roommate and we are located at the end of the parking lot connected to the SON building. If your interested e-mail me and I can send you pictures [email protected]
  12. During my interview the lady said she knew over 400 people applied and they were giving 200-250 interviews and of that only 64 are being accepted.
  13. I'm not sure but they aren't on here that's for sure!
  14. Yeah! Let me know what they say! And also this was the only school. I have my heart set on it.
  15. Congrats!! Hey I know of a place that is in the White Coat area right by the school that still has a room free! It's a mixed of different grad students but it's pretty cheap! If your interested e-mail me at [email protected] .
  16. Hi! So my interview was about 30 mins long. She was super nice and just basically told me all about the school. She didn't ask me any questions like I had thought. The only thing that came up is "why did I want to become a nurse" and that was it. So don't be nervous. Also mine was in person.
  17. Congrats!! So you will be starting in May then? I was wondering when your interview date was and then about how long it took after for them to get back to you.
  18. Were you accepted for the May 2015 or the Sept 2015 start date?
  19. Also I had an interview this week as well. They said over 400 people applied and about 200-250 people will be getting interviews and of that only 64 people will be accepted. I'm pretty nervous now. The lady who interviewed me was nice but she said they wouldn't make any calls or send letters out until June at the latest. Has anyone else had an interview yet? Also I was wondering is anyone knew of anyone who had an acceptance phone call yet?
  20. I noticed a lot of people are saying that had interviews in 2014. This tread is for people applying for Fall 2015 just to clarify again. Everyones getting nervous and thinking they don't have a chance now. I believe this tread has been combined with other application deadlines lol! The interviews just started this week for the Fall 2015. So if you have applied for Fall 2015 please share your application process and ask questions!! :)
  21. When did you apply and did you get in or have an interview?
  22. Hi I was wondering what you meant by being worried about your GPA. If you don't mind me asking what it was and your major. Did you end up getting accepted or not? I'm looking at applying for fall 15'.
  23. Hi! I'm looking at applying for the ABPNN at U of R. Does anyone know what GPA, major, age, and experiences they are looking for. I completed all the pre-req's and I'm graduating in Dec 14'. I haven't been able to find anyone that was willing to share their background info who already has been accepted in the program! Any details would be GREAT!!
