Passed NCLEX-RN for the 1st time!
panini42, you are so right about what you said that review/self-studying entails much discipline and that is something that I need to work hard as well:shy: I finished Saunders last month (read cover-to-cover) and also the test questions (and rationales too) after each chapter (and the Comprehensive Exam after I read the entire book). I've heard good things about PDA La Charity and maybe I should get myself a copy of it:yes: For now I'm studying via Kaplan NCLEX RN On Demand Thank you so much again for giving me tips (I really appreciate it!) and for sharing that you successfully passed your NCLEX RN exam You served as an inspiration to all of us who will be taking the exam real soon. God bless you in your job hunt and don't forget to celebrate now that you are officially an RN!

Passed NCLEX-RN for the 1st time!
Congratulations RN! Good Job! I'm about to take my NCLEX-RN exam in about a month from now and I am petrified already of what will be the outcome How many hours each day do you study/review? I'd like to know how you came up with your study schedule as I needed help in that area too

NCLEX RNapplication fee lost?t
Oh my...mine were fingerprint ink cards I do hope BON will issue my eligibility earlier than that or else if it goes beyond the expiration date of my Pearsonvue registration, I'll be paying another $200 Thank you for the info, JustBeachyNurse!

NCLEX RNapplication fee lost?t
New Mexico Board of Nursing. What happen was I was supposed to take the exam early this year but unfortunately due to some paperwork mixed up I was advised by the BON to go to the process of application for NCLEX RN exam all over again (yes, starting from zero). I already registered to Pearsonvue back then (January 2014) and I only have until mid January 2015 to set my test date. Pearsonvue gives 365 days allowance starting from the day I registered which was last January. Now I'm pretty much anxious about how fast they (BON-NM) will process my paper :-( I hope they will issue my eligibility to take the exam prior to the expiration of my Pearsonvue registration.

Yes, I did follow theinstructions packet but I'm not sure nor too confident if I followed the entire thing. Imalready done with my CGFNS and they have long submitted their CES report to theBON. After that, I submitted my application to BON then the following week, I submitted my fingerprints to 3M Cogent

I PASSED NCLEX RN (International student)
Congratulations RN! Thank you for sharing your tips on how you made it to your NCLEX RN exam. I am still struggling with my study schedule and just like you, I also have a family to take care with. We both have the same study materials (Kaplan On Demand, Saunders) except for PDA LaCharity. For now, I'm still waiting for my exam requirements to be issued and hopefully I'll be able to take it the soonest possible time. God bless you in your job hunt!

I've just started my Kaplan review and I did horribly with my diagnostic (and review QTs 1,2,3). I score around 40's and I never got anything higher than that.

NCLEX RNapplication fee lost?t
ps. That's the thing...I did not receive any email from their (BON) end that they received my application and fee (via Moneygram). Maybe perhaps they are giving way (lets say 2-3 weeks from the day theyreceived my application and fee) for my fingerprints to arrive from 3M Cogent before they'll email me what are the lacking requirements whenever after 2-3 weeks have passed since the day they received my application.

Thanks for the info! I called them (BON) yesterday and asked them about it, they too have the same answer as yours. Yeah, I should better get my fingerprints done the soonest possible to minimize delays.

NCLEX RNapplication fee lost?t
Hi! I sent my application for nclex rn exam along with my money order fee to the state board of nursing where I'm applying to last week via USPS. As I checked on USPS website tracking, the application was already delivered 2 days after I sent it. Now I'm wondering will the state board keep my application and fee on hold or keep it on file while they wait for my fingerprints? Or will they require me to submit a new application and forfeit the fee I made?
