Congrats to everyone who got accepted. I currently have two sets of scrubs if anyone is interested in them. They are the gray scrubs from Cherokee that they are currently using. They are size medium tops and bottoms. I will sell for $30.00.

I did the same thing. Didn't do anything the first two days and now I am cleaning my house. We have already received our assignments for next semester but I am not doing anything until after Christmas.

I have one more final next week and I will be done. I made B's in Pharm. and Health Assessment and am probably going to make a B in Fundam. I too am so ready for this semester to be over. I just found out that I got an intern job I applied for at one of the major hospitals and will begin working next week. I am so nervous but excited at the same time. Hoping that I can gain a good relationship with them and have a job waiting when I graduate.

Has anyone that is attending the Jefferson campus received an email regarding the skills pack? I saw where some people from the N/W program has received one but I haven't received one. Just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something.

You will need to take the one that says "healthcare provider". As long as they are certified through the AHA then you will be okay.

Hello King4. I will be taking mine at the Hoover Fire Dept. It is $15.00 and they do it the first two Saturdays of the month. This month they will only be doing it on the 11th since the 4th is the first Saturday. I am wondering when we have to be certified by because I can't do mine until the first weekend in August.

What was the email today? I don't think I got one today.

So in the follow-up email you received feeneishia it didn't say all the books we needed? I am assuming they will go over it in orientation. When is your orientation?

Ok this may be a stupid question but do we only buy the bundle or do we need to buy the bundle along with the other books that have a quantity next to them?

Nope I haven't. She said that we probably wouldn't receive it until early next week so I'm not expecting it until then. I am wondering though if we are going to have to have our CPR certification done by orientation. I hope not because the Saturday in July that Hoover Fire Dept. is doing it (July 11th), I will be out of town. When I called up to Jeff State last week she told me that orientation was going to be on July 14th for the Jefferson campus. I hope this is still correct because I will be on vacation the week before.

Yes DavidMcc, I will be coming there. I had to call Shelton as soon as I found out to let them know that I had been accepted here and that I was not going to be able to attend. I felt bad doing that but it's the best thing for me. Yes I feel the same about knowing someone before going in. We will have to meet up at orientation.
