Can You get a ASN if you have a B.A. in another field
Just like everyone else said, Yes, it's possible. I had a BA before nursing school and chose to go the CC route for an ADN. Now I'm getting my BSN through a state school. It's taking longer than an accelerated program, but the price works for me! :0)

Passing TIPS NCLEX-RN 2014
Congrats, RN!!! Isn't it THE BEST feeling?!! especially seeing your name on the site? I agree Saunder's and the Kaplan Q bank were helpful to study for the NCLEX. I also used apps on my iphone that had NCLEX questions when I was on the go. Good luck to those studying!

Another question for students and CNA grads
For nursing school, my instructors provided the iclickers for us and collected them at the end of class. For general education undergrad classes, we had to buy the clickers. I bought mine on-line, which was waaaaaay cheaper than the on-campus bookstore. I actually liked the clickers. I'm one of those students that DO NOT like to raise my hand during lectures in fear of answering a question wrong, so it was nice to participate and remain anonymous when answering a question even if it was incorrect.
