Take anything you can at HCC. Also, EVERYONE GET YOUR LOANS AND FINANCIAL AID STRAIGHTENED OUT NOW. I just found because I already have a degree I won't get a lot of scholarships.

I heard you might be able to take Christian Theology at HCC.

It depends on time and money. With HBU you'll be done with undergrad in 2 years and you don't have to worry about taking more classes, unless you want to be a NP or something. I thought about an ADN, but I don't want to take courses while I'm working.

Bella_Bella, Some of us aren't sure if we're in yet so we can't exactly answer your questions. Just do the best you can for the HESI and try to make all A's in your prerequisites, especially your science and math courses. The more prerequisites you finish before the test, the easier it will be.

Bmahmood, I would wait until you hear from all of the schools you applied to, unless your deadlines to reply come before all of your acceptance letters. If you do hear from all if the schools before any deadlines, pick what's best for you and your situation. What school do you have your heart set on? How much do you have to spend? Is the commute ok? Do you need or want to get in and out of a BSN program ASAP? If you don't hear from all of the schools before deadlines, are you willing to gamble with your second pick? Would it be worth it in the end to wait to hear from your first pick?

I searched online how many people are chosen as alternates and a post from an All Nurses 2013 thread for HBU stated that only 10 are chosen. I hope that's true. I accepted my alternate letter as soon as I read it. I'm keeping up the wishful thinking for us alternates :)
