Hey, I'm currently looking into becoming an LVN/LPN and I would just like to know if anybody had any useful advice on what to expect or maybe even some study tips and tricks. I have already been certified as a nurse aide, so I'm no stranger to hard work. I'm just doing my research before I dive in head first. Thanks! :)
I am currently a student at a Job Corps center and I am almost complete with my CNA trade. I am a little confused though about what I should do after I'm finished here. Plan A) Take State exam and get certification to work in a nursing home close to my parents to pay my way through college to become an LVN and eventually an RN OR Plan B) Complete this CNA trade and go to a different Job Corps in Oklahoma or New York to do the LVN/LPN trade for free. It's hard because I want to stay near my family, but I also want to become an LVN and be able to support myself to go back to college for my BSN. Which is better?
