    To missingmydad, I'm not sure what your religious faith is but feathers are often associated with Archangel Micheal. Sorry for your loss and I hope this helps to explain the feathers. I am in the process of writing a book on real death bed visions both good and bad, stories from hospice workers, nurses and real patients. The reason I am writing the book is to help prepare people and families for what is an inevitable event in everyone's life.
