  1. I am not sure what kind of surgery you think I am pursuing
  2. If you think that I am having problems with my whole healthcare team then I am beginning to understand the problems you are having with reading comprehension. I'm going to try to put this into terms you can understand. I do not care how you feel about my interactions with JBN. The fact that is all you are referring to in the 3 different you made on this thread tells me that you you are privy with organized or well thought communications which makes what you have to say or think about me even less significant.
  3. I find it amusing that you and ohiosicuurn are saying this of all people, judging from your posts both of you sound like absolute horrors to have to work around or work with in any capacity and seem to demonstrate a shocking lack of common sense, understanding, and intelligence. Here you are adding absolutely nothing to the discussion AND trying to attack my character while you attempt to insult me character over the Internet. Yes dears you appear to be great people
  4. In the beginning of the visit Sam stated that is uncommon for her to ever not recommend more visits with her patients, so that may have been a factor but I am not really sure. I do not think I used the term bullying with the nurse supervisor.
  5. You deal with your social interactions the way you feel is most appropriate and I will do the same. I am uninterested in making this thread a pity party for JBN and I do not feel I was wrong in anything I've said here. If anyone else would like to come looking for apologies on JBN's behalf, beware that you will not find them.
  6. I had a professor for my first year bio class that was new to teaching and did speak english well. For that class, given his situation, my college bought extra learning materials to make it a little easier on students and him. For example, my college was not fond of buying class presentations, but for him they would make an exception and they also had other people from the science department to come and teach us lessons that he would have trouble pronouncing or explaining. Maybe your college would be willing to do something like that if you inquired about it?
  7. I like to paint and explore nearby areas, especially museums and specialty shops.
  8. I'm sorry you feel that way. If it makes you feel any better I suggested the classes because they truly are enjoyable and enlightening.
  9. JBN also got snarky but I don't see you addressing any of that. My posts merely mirrored hers.
  10. Who is GrnTea? I am not riled up or angry in the slightest. Again please refer to comments and read to comprehend. JBN and I disagreed on some points and I took no issue with that. As for how understanding psychology and human communication affects how you perceive human interaction and give advice, I'm going to leave that up to you to figure out if you ever have the pleasure of getting that training.
  11. I thanked JustBeachyNurse for replying, What more are you expecting? You can get into a defensive mode because she may be you friend but the fact is she asked me why I was here and I returned the question. I was not disrespectful towards her. If you think that I was seeking validation, you have not read and/or comprehended the post. I took no issue to JBN disagreeing with me in any of her comments, only with her making assumptions.
  12. Who are you referring to? I did not tell anyone not to reply because of who they were, rather the content of their comments. She said she didn't know how to answer the question and I told her she did not have to reply. Are you really asking me why I am asking a question if posters will never understand the situation better than the people involved? This really shouldn't have to be stated because this is a forum for nurses who should have undergone some training in psychology and human communications. In any situation you are asked to weigh in on, be it with friends or online, you have to know that you are not going to know it nearly as well as the people who have experienced it firsthand.
  13. Why are you on this message board? Or any other for that matter? You seem to have quite the problem registering that you will not know the situation nearly as intimately as the people in them, yet you keep replying with useless information. If you don't know what else I want to hear or what else to say, then stop commenting. I am not sure why you are not getting that my main goal is not to complain to my hearts content, I wish to understand and maybe repair the situation because I liked the hospital. Thank you for stating for the third time it was not a HIPAA violation, I did not need you too because unlike some, I possess the skill of reading comprehension and understood when you said it in your first post.
  14. You have been assuming and using "information" that was not in the post from your initial reply, you have effectively created a situation of your own imagination and are replying to my thread hoping it will have some relevance and balking when it does not. One example of this is that you keep stating that they had the right to dismiss me as a patient. I never stated that I had been dismissed as a patient, I said that they told me I was ineligible for surgery. Please use your reading comprehension skills. The only thing that you have had to add to this thread so far that has been useful is that it was not a HIPAA violation. I thank you for that information, but your erroneous assumptions and inapplicable comments besides that are not welcome. If you are not going to post based on the information provided please find another thread to post on.
  15. JustBeachyNurse "You failed to include any of this in your original post" Yes, the information that I added for clarification in the comments was not in the initial post and it was not needed until you assumed the situation was something it was not. "Since you already filed a complaint and had an investigation initiated by a "department head", what are you seeking to discover from a nursing message board? You asked who could you complain to yet you already filed a complaint but did not disclose the information. " Read the initial post again. I never asked who I could complain to, I asked what I could do about the situation. Furthermore, if you were going to interpret that question as me looking for entities to complain to, the list would not stop at the hospitals departments. The answers I am seeking to discover are highlighted in the initial post and are followed by question marks. As for going to a new hospital, I have been considering that. However, the people who I am having problems with are people who either have never treated me or are no longer apart of my healthcare team. I do not agree that this was not retaliation and whether I choose another hospital or not I want to bring light to this situation. Even in elective surgeries, it is still illegal to retaliate.
