Hi...sorry it took so long to answer. Services I plan to offer include several different massage types, such as: Deep Tissue, Swedish (of course), Cupping, Thai Yoga Massage, Thai Medicine Ball massage...just to name a few. As an RN I have no problem with contacting and consulting with a client's primary health care provider, in order to create a care plan/recovery plan as a team approach. I also plan to do home visits for Elderly/Shut In type of clients that cannot easily travel. I also hope to provide massage therapy for nursing home and hospice clients as well. As NANMT, I gave up. I had reached the person in charge, but then never heard back from them...? It seems they are and or will no longer be an actual group/association...? Therefore, I decided to pursue the Holistic Nursing membership and will work toward get my certification within Holistic Nursing instead as I believe that will better complement my Massage Therapy better in the long run. =)
