Hello everyone, I figured to share my story and maybe get some helpful tips to help me succeed and conquer the NCLEX on my third attempt. I haven't yet registered to retake my NCLEX, due to financial issues. I graduated last October 2013. I took my first NCLEX in January 2014 and did not pass, I had some below passing and some near passing rate. I know going into that test I didn't get all the studying I needed to feel comfortable. My family had urged me to just schedule my test and go for it, which I did and obviously failed miserably. I then purchased the HURST review, and I feel that did help me understand some topics a lot better and helped me remember things easier. I attempted my second try on the NCLEX in September 2014, I failed but this time had a few near passing and some above passing. I have been down since, but I have been keeping up with studying hear and there, and not just taking a break from it. I plan on registering again and want to take my NCLEX before December and I want to pass this time. I was also looking into the Exam Cram and hoping this might be good study guide for me. I have saunders and do the questions on there as well. But the cd doesn't work on my laptop since I have a MacBook, I just do the questions in the book. The first two attempts on my NCLEX was for CA, but since then I have moved to Nevada so will be registering for my boards in Nevada. I felt like venting here to maybe get some support, tips, and just that motivation I need. Thank you.
