  1. For those of you who are in the current class, (or anyone else who may know)... what is the timeline generally like between graduating and starting to work? For example, how soon do we take the NCLEX, how quickly do those results come back, etc. I'm looking forward to being gainfully employed again!
  2. Acceptance emails are out!
  3. Thank you for all the great info scanders! One quick question... once you received the acceptance email, how long did you have to make a decision?
  4. Yes, though I just moved here last year for the first time. I applied to UB and Brockport, and a few places in New England (though I would prefer to stay here if at all possible).
  5. My first degree was in Spanish, I graduated in '08. I then worked in a non-medical job for five years. I've spent the last year+ working on my prereqs and volunteering in local hospitals. I'm hoping they care more about my life experience than my less than stellar academic performance several years ago How about you?
  6. I'm also applying for 2015. My overall is about 3.2, my prereq is 3.92. They weigh prereq GPA a little higher than overall, and actually weigh essays/GPA 60%/40% (which makes me feel a little better!). I met with an admissions counsellor; she said they actually accept close to 50% of applicants. I'm still insanely nervous though, it's going to be a long couple of months waiting for an email!
