Well I'm number 75 so I got a while.

I haven't heard anything from anyone.

No not yet. It will probably be a while before I hear anything I think. I feel like I might have a better chance of getting into the srjc if I'm high on the alternate list. Just keeping my fingers crossed!

I keep my fingers crossed everyday. So stressful. When I spoke with donna she said that she believes many people will gain a spot from the alternate list and that she will notify us immediately if a spot becomes available. It's nice that you found out before the acceptance deadline.

I can imagine. I'm happy for you, what a great feeling. I was hoping they would tell you what your number was. Orientation will be here before you know it.

I know that this thread is from the last application cycle, but I have applied to the SRJC for the fall 2015 semester and have received my email telling me I am "high" on the alternate list for spring 2016. Does anyone have any information on what this means and how many people who high on the alternate list get in? Thank you!

I'm right there with you! It's helpful to talk to people who are in the same boat as you. I'm going to see if I can talk to someone tomorrow. Did you send in your TEAS scores?

I know, I think that happens more than we think. People apply so many different places. I'm sure we have a good chance! Just keep thinking positive. I'm sure they will have a good idea of how many students they can take after the 15th. I don't know exactly what number I am but tomorrow I think I will go and try to find out. Hopefully there is someone there who has the list of students. I got that info from the director.

Me too! It makes me so nervous. Hopefully we will know something after June 15th.
