  1. Hello, I'm a 4th year student and I will be doing my final placement in the Emergency Department next term. I am really excited for this placement, and want to study up on some information and prepare myself over the christmas break before I head into next year. I would really appreciate suggestions from anyone about things to know before I begin!
  2. Hello, I have my final Integrative Practicum coming up next term, where I am placed with a nurse and work full time with her. I really was hoping to get into the ER, however at my school it is a specialty placement that I have to fill out an application for. I was thinking of taking a course or two that I could include on my application to give me an edge on the competition. Any suggestions for courses that may help me out in this area??
  3. Hello, Im currently a nursing student in my 3rd year of a 4 year BScN program. After graduation I am really wanting to work in Australia for a couple of years before returning to Canada for grad school. I am wondering if anyone has any insight related to getting a job in Australia right out of school? Ive researched a bit and seen the options for work holiday visas, but I can't seem to find any information about job requirements, or agencies that may be an asset in this kind of situation. As you can probably tell I have just begun to research this and am still pretty lost, so anything at all that anyone can help me out with on this topic would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
