Look for CSUS Nursing Class of Fall 2017

Happy Thanksgiving and congratulations to everyone that got in! I've finally gotten around to making the Facebook group that I said I would! The group name is called "CSUS Nursing Class of Fall 2017." Join the group and I will invite you! The group isn't just for finding other nursing students to house with, but instead it will be used throughout the semester specifically for our nursing class. The group will be used for updates, asking questions or having concerns with anything. It's a great tool that we can utilize. The group will only be effective with what we put into it. So please join and spread the word to other nursing students who have recently gotten accepted! I look forward to meeting all of you :)

I definitely need housing too! Since we can't talk about that here, I was planning on making a facebook page once we find out we are in! With the facebook page we can talk about all the options and sort it out more easily :)

To sum it up: -Applicant ranked 80 has 79 points. If two people have 79 points, it goes based off nursing GPA then TEAS score -Applicant ranked 121 and higher will be notified October 30th after 5pm about their admission decision. -Applicants ranked 1-120 will be notified late November which I'm assuming is still November 27th after 5pm. Don't forget intent to enroll for sac is due by NOV 1!

I personally believe that we should all be forgiving of 2eazy. It is better to assume their actions were purely unintentional and unaware; rather, than calling them out. I'm only typing this out, because I felt that it was not nice to say they would not make friends in the nursing program, or imply they are not just as passionate to become a nurse like all of us. Can we just get back on to track to the reason we originally made this post. To build each other's confidence and morale, whether or not someone has too little, or too high points.

Yay! Checked today and I have been admitted to Sac! I'm glad that worrying is over lol. Now time to wait patiently until mid to late November for nursing program admission!

My sac state admission still hasn't been determined...it's bugging me! I attended many colleges so it made my csu application complicated when filling it out. Not even worried about the nursing application lol.

It is crazy! It has to level off but who knows when!

Here are the most recent point cutoffs: Spring 2014 69 Fall 2014 71 Spring 2015 73 Fall 2015 76 Based on this trend, the highest point cutoff for spring 2016 should be 79. There is a slight chance it can go off from this pattern but if does, I can't see it being higher than 80! It's safe to assume if you're at or above 80, you should be go to go! :)

I feel like with 80 you should be okay! Great to hear that the fall 2015 cutoff wasn't at 79 points. It dropped down to 76 as shown on Sac States nursing admission statistics. So generally over the years it's been increasing by 2 or 3 points. If this continues, you should be okay with your 80!! Have you done anything to increase your points past 80?

Wow that is so soon! I didn't know they'd do it ahead of time! I was waiting for October 1! Mine still hasn't updated but I did turn in my official transcripts in person yesterday at the admissions office lol. So mine will take a while.

Hi everyone! I'm also applying to Sacramento State for spring 2016! I'll be applying with 89 points. Good luck to everyone!

For example, Sac state lets you apply for Spring and Fall nursing programs with only 1 prerequisite in progress but that doesn't work me for me.

Do you know of any CSU's that will allow more than 1 prerequisite in progress? I heard there are some but I can't seem to find them.

Hi, I was wondering if there are nursing programs that don't say you can only have 1 or 2 prerequisites in progress when applying. I want to apply in spring for the Nursing program but I will have 3 prerequisites in progress when I apply in the upcoming spring. Sadly, I can't seem to find any schools that accept 3 or more prerequisites in progress when applying . If you guys know of any, please let me know! Oh and this is for nursing schools in California. Thanks!
