  1. @MsReed10, I completely agree. I love that people respond quickly on here and not mention they are very helpful, including yourself! :)
  2. Sorry, I didn't realize. Thanks for correcting me.
  3. Hello! I have finals for my first semester of nursing (RN) school coming up. I am trying to look for a website with maybe practice exams and helpful test for my nursing classes such as NUR 102 (Fund. of Nursing). If any of you know of any websites and are willing to share, please let me know. Also, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!
  4. Hello, everyone! Sorry I didn't get back with y'all yesterday. I was busy with homework. I have the rough draft due for this project tomorrow. I am working on it now. I am over half way through, and I have mentioned the importance of healthy eating habits and importance of sleep in young children. Now, I am typing about the importance of physical activity in young children, and I blown away by all the benefits of children exercising that greatly helps them in the long run. For my draft, I was going to include the importance of keeping children up to date on their immunizations but decided not too. Well, I am at least not going to for the draft I might for the final draft! What do y'all think? Again, I appreciate all the advice y'all have left for me, don't be afraid to tell me something important y'all think I should include or if y'all think I am doing something wrong. (The poster I am doing isn't due until October 15th. I just decided to share with you all some of my ideas for it earlier.) Unfortunately, this project only counts for a total of 2% of my final grade. So it won't help that much, but it could be the difference between a 74 and 75. (I am not sure if its the same in all nursing programs, but the program I am in requires a 75 and up to pass the course.)
  5. Also, please if you have read through all the post please comment your input. All comments are helpful and greatly appreciated.
  6. Thank you all for your help. Also, I apologize for not posting more in my first post. I realize now it did in a way sound like I asking for more than I intended. I will probably post a little later, and if not later I know I will tomorrow about more ideas I have come up with.
  7. I just had another idea of what I want to do. On the subject of healthy eating habits in young children, I am also going to include drinks that are not good for young children also. Such as, sodas, energy drinks, etc. Now here is my idea: I am thinking about bringing maybe test tubes or clear cups that contain the true amount of sugar (I might do sodium also) in cokes, sprites, etc. To show exactly how much is in each drink. I will probably also include the amount of sugar in some juices too. Mainly because not all parents realize how much is in it because they assume that its juice and since its juice its healthy. What do you all think of this idea? (Also, every time I post on here at the end or beginning of my post it posts a lot of symbols, and says preferences and all of this other spaced out stuff. What do I need to do to keep it from doing that?)
  8. It never was my intention for anyone to do my homework. I wouldn't be successful in this program if I cheated my way through. Sorry, if you all thought so. Here are three websites I am mostly likely going to use for my project. Promoting Health in Young Children Healthy eating habits for your children http://sleepfoundation.org/sleep-topics/children-and-sleep The second and third URL I posted are the best, in my opinion. The first one just has a little info on nutrition and sleep. Do you all think these are decent websites to use for my project? I am looking to include things like healthy eating habits, importance of sleep in young children, importance of nutrition, and importance of appropriate physical activity. I think all is very important.
  9. Hello! I am currently in nursing school, and I need a little help from you all. I have to do a project on Promoting Health in Young Children. Though I some what have an idea of what I want to do, I just wanted to ask you all some important things you think I should include. For this project, we have to write a paper and do either a poster or powerpoint. (I am doing a poster.) If you all would, please list some things you think I should include or possibly a helpful website. I appreciate it all so much! Thank you!
