Hey @Nurse Tangerine, I'm sorry you haven't heard anything yet - my interviewer said they don't always make phone calls so you might be getting something in the mail soon! I got my bachelors in Biology (neuro/physiology) from UMD and work at Strong Hospital in a lab. I don't have patient contact experience but all my pre-reqs are completed. However, they didn't seem to mind if they aren't completed as long as they will be before the semester starts. I let them know I want to be an NP in the future and they said I can apply to the program after working for 6 months. I was weary about applying to the NP program first because I don't know what I want my focus to be yet and you have to compete with nurses for spots. I hope this helps!
