  1. Hey! @canelamayra for moving I would try different rental websites (like webster properties) or maybe contact the school to see if they have any residential info! I do not recommend going through flower city management though. Hey @Nurse Tangerine, I'm sorry you haven't heard anything yet - my interviewer said they don't always make phone calls so you might be getting something in the mail soon! I got my bachelors in Biology (neuro/physiology) from UMD and work at Strong Hospital in a lab. I don't have patient contact experience but all my pre-reqs are completed. However, they didn't seem to mind if they aren't completed as long as they will be before the semester starts. I let them know I want to be an NP in the future and they said I can apply to the program after working for 6 months. I was weary about applying to the NP program first because I don't know what I want my focus to be yet and you have to compete with nurses for spots. I hope this helps!
  2. canelamayra I really like the area I live in - its on N Goodman St but the area around East/Park Ave/Goodman/Alexander St is where a lot of students live (about 15 min from campus). There's a lot of restaurants, small shops, and bars. Since this area is popular the rent is a little higher - 600-900 a month for a one bedroom usually with utilities. If you want a quieter area some grad students live on elmwood which is very close to campus. People also live in the suburbs of Brighton but thats a little further away. There is a Trader Joes in Pittsford! Its in a nice shopping center area with tons of stores. Let me know if you have any more questions! BillyD - I still cant find it is the group set to private (friends only)?
  3. Hello! Just received a call this morning about my acceptance into the program! I was looking to join the facebook group for the cohort, but I cant find it . Also, I'm from Maryland but have been living in Rochester for a year now so if you have any questions about the area please let me know!
