  1. Thanks for the info! What about for online programs? I don't live near PhD options so I have been looking at online programs which do not seem to offer the TA ability. I have heard of the loan forgiveness program and I plan to look into it.
  2. Hello! I am a nurse educator who teaches at a local college. I recently attained my MSN (education and administration focus). I have discovered that I'm quite interested in research but I can't afford tuition for the PhD. Some colleges and federal programs have helpful options but my primary hope is to find a nursing faculty job at a place that pays for the PhD. Does anyone know of any colleges that hire instructors with a MSN and pay for a faculty member to get a PhD? Thanks very much in advance for any guidance you can provide.
  3. I will be moving to Tulsa later this year. I have my MSN in nursing education & administration with 5 years of teaching experience at the ADN level and 8 years of floor experience. I am very worried about moving and I will be caring for an ill family member in addition my immediate family. Can anyone give me information regarding pay rates in tulsa for faculty? What about a nurse floor position with this experience? Also, which nursing schools have a reputation for being fair and student-focused while using current technology? Thank you so much in advance - I am very grateful for any knowledge that anyone can provide!
