Stethoscope
Thanks so much for the feedback both of you. I looked at the Littmann Classic 2 SE and it has great reviews. I think that's what I'll be getting. :)

Stethoscope
Hey guys. I'm a LPN student (enrolled but classes haven't started yet) and I am in need of a stethoscope. I have been reading into the hype of a Littmann stethoscope and find myself wanting one more and more everyday. My question is, do you have a stethoscope that you would recommend for under $200.00? Thank you in advance. :)

Scholarships for LPN
This might be a weird question, but I was wondering if anyone in/or through an LPN program had applied and/or received scholarships? The reason I'm asking is my instructor at my school mentioned that scholarships are available to the LPN program. She said while we are in class she will tell us when to apply etc... but then went on to say they can't help us find scholarships other than those (wth?) I tried to google LPN scholarships in Pennsylvania but can't come up with much from the search. I come from a very poor family and am trying my best to come up with my first tuition payment but am thinking scholarships would definitely help me pay a little for my school. Any help is appreciated. :)

Online Schooling
Thanks for the response. Yeah in general, I wanted to see if anyone with an online bachelor degree found a job that required a bachelor degree. That's awesome! Congrats! I want to take a bridge path to BSN online but I've seen such mixed reactions about online colleges but they just seem so much more convenient for those of us that can learn well online and have good time management skills.

Online Schooling
Hey guys, Jake here. Currently a LPN looking to take a step up in the education department but had a couple of quick questions that I wasn't able to come to a solid conclusion to from other threads. Now first and foremost, I've seen a lot of nurses here that have increased their education from LPN to BSN, RN to BSN, but I wanted some insight on some personal experiences. Have any of you (those of you who did an online BSN program) been successfully hired as a registered nurse (bsn) after obtaining this online degree? I was looking and Indiana or Excelsior mostly. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Jake

LPN Pre-Entrance Exam Criteria
Hey guys. Thanks for all the responses. I have a pretty good memory and think I have exceptional common sense (I like to think) It just surprised me that my study guide is telling me I should know what a "polymorph" rock is as well as the "plate techtonic theory." I understand the phases of "mitosis" etc... because they're biology but I'm wondering how Earth and Space science play into this examination unless I'm going to be a nurse to molemen or in Mars?

LPN Pre-Entrance Exam Criteria
Good evening! My name is Jake and this is my first time posting on this board. I was browsing the forums about LPN program pre-entrance aptitude tests. There was a lot of information useful to me, but I am looking to go a little more in-depth. I am a prospective nursing student who is taking the PSB (I believe) next month and wanted to make sure I am prepared. I have purchased the recommended study guides and wanted to ask. Does the pre-entrance test you took include any of the following: Arithmetic Spelling Reading Comprehension Earth or Space Science Biology Chemistry Physics I was just wondering. I see the need for just about all of those but Earth and Space science but wonder why it is included in the study guide. Any suggestions on the best material to study? Thanks in advance. Jake
