I just took the TEAS V yesterday and wanted to provide some information. I have been studying on & off for the TEAS since last July, but took some months off until I completed A & P I...which was very time consuming & demanding. For the past month or so, I have studied very intensely using primarily the ATI book. Additionally, I have used the McGraw Hill 5 test and youtube to brush up on areas that I was weak in. I also used several of the very detailed studied guides that people put together and submitted on this site. Well, to my surprise, my experience was like many of the former test takers...Science was very hard and definitely more chemistry focused...most of the information that I studied was not on the exam. I had maybe 3 anatomy questions and two earth science questions. Math was kind of similar to the book, but this was my weakest area as I was too concerned with running out of time...I thought the test questions were more difficult than the study guide. The passages in the reading section were very long...much longer than in the study guide. Finally, the English section was the easiest for me and I felt the most similar to the study guide. Although, I did not do great...I did well enough to get into the LPN program that I am applying to. The company that administers the test should make the test, (esp the Science section) more reflective of the information that is in the book.
