NCLEX Re-taking
I had a hard time picking on which to study first, I stopped reading the review handouts I got since I feel like it was somewhat lacking. Kaplan helped me in understanding the strategy but it doesn't work all the time when answering some difficult questions. I agree that Saunders being a bit too easy but real useful when it comes to content. I'll stick to Hurst and its videos then the other two sites. I'm still looking for the 2016 trial code for UWORLD though.

NCLEX Re-taking
Thanks so much for the links! Truly appreciate it! I've decided to try out the Hurst and focus on that first. Did you read other RN books besides Saunders/PDA and how long did it took you before your exam? Thanks again! :)

NCLEX Re-taking
Again, thank you so much for the tips! I only have Saunders for reviewing the content so I guess I'll have to stick with that. I made sure to bookmark the pass point so do I have to register in the site just to try out the free trial? And do you also know where I can access the free trial for Uworld as well?

NCLEX Re-taking
Thank you! I hope so too! May I ask, is Hurst good for review? I was just curious but I plan on focusing more on q&a since I think my problem has to do with analyzing the questions.

NCLEX Re-taking
Hoping it'd be alright if I could share my ongoing experience here. Last year's July was the first time I took NCLEX and my computer stopped at 75 questions. Unfortunately, I didn't pass and was greatly discouraged at my results because it felt like I didn't study hard enough. Before my test, I attended a review center (twice), read the Saunders 6th edition three/four times (pasted notes all over the wall of my room), answered q&a's from LaCharity. My friends thought I'd make it but I admit I'm not the brightest and Nursing isn't really my first choice so my grades aren't even in the highest or lowest, always in the passable range. As of now, I decided that to take it again and scheduling this March. I already attended Kaplan last year's September so all I've been doing is self-studying. I just finished LaCharity again and this time I'm reading Saunders 5th edition and jotting down notes in a notebook. I'm thinking of doing some q&a from my copy of NCLEX rn-3500 and purchase an access to Uworld a few weeks before my exam (my free trial expired already and I really like the rationales compared to Saunders and Kaplan). Here's to hoping a good and positive year for me and to those who'll be taking it.

NCLEX Registration (Fingerprint)
Thank you so much for the correction! I thought of writing down on the reason to be fingerprinted as applying for NCLEX but I haven't filled that part yet so I'll just place 'applying for a nursing license' then. :)

NCLEX Registration (Fingerprint)
Hello, I'm new here and still residing in the Philippines. I've already passed the local board exam and started to apply for the NCLEX (Illinois). I already submitted my CGFNS forms to PRC and my school last week so I'll try to contact them for updates this week, then I went to the US Embassy and got two fingerprint cards. My problem is that I know I have to go to the main NBI and have it there be fingerprinted, but to whom should I mail the fingerprint card if I'll be the one mailing them? Do I still send it to the ISP (Illinois State of Police): Bureau of Identification? Thank you in advance to anyone who could help me out.
