I am interested in becoming A LPN,i understand that if you work in a hospital you have different shifts especially night shifts w/c i dont think it will work for me.Im thinking of working in a doctors office/clinic,,because i like the office atmosphere than hospital environment.Does LPN works in doctors office too? Then what would be the duties if you work in a clinic?
  2. thanks for your advice!
  3. \ thanks for your time,i appreciate it!
  4. hi, I am going to school pretty soon but until now i cant still decide between LPN & Medical Assistant. What i like about MA is i like the office atmosphere, does LPN work in a doctors office too?Doing bedside care kind of scare me but i believe it is something we can overcome with, but im clueless in what they really do in a hospital, like what kind of patient care?If your a LPN,what is your typical day w/ the patient,,Is it really true that LPN does the dirty work than RN? Can you please tell me the duties as a LPN, & would you recommend this carrer.
  5. hi, I cant decide between Medical assistant & LPN..But for me nursing has more job opportunities & greater slary. What i like about medical assistant is to be able to work in a doctors office,i kinda like the office atmosphere. But i keep coming back to nursing but doing bedside care kind of scare me.So my question is,where else a nurse can work?Because if i will be nurse,i would like to work in a doctors office,im just wondering if i will have a hard time finding a job in that area compared to working in hospital.Another question is ,during your clinicals,, what kind of patient care you did? & last question,if you are working right now in a hospital as an LPN,what is your typical day? ANy ideas will be so much appreciated! :)
