  17. Hello All! I wanted to post here because I was needing some advice on applying to hospitals back home in California. I will give a little background on myself. I grew up in Orange County, California graduated high school and moved to Texas to pursue a degree in Nursing. I originally went through a diploma program and graduated in December, 2013. From there I started working as an RN in the Cardiac ICU. While working I attended a University and have completed my BSN. SO with that said... I currently have 9 months of RN experience in ICU. I am apart of AACN, the wound care committee in the hospital, and just recently have been designated a nurse preceptor for a new nurse that was hired onto the floor that will start the end of this month. I am looking to move to San Diego by of before the end of February to be close to my family. Does anyone have any advice in applying to the hospitals down there? Should I wait to apply until after my one year is up in January or start applying now? Is it possible to get interviewed/hired before the "one year" is up? Will my resume even be considered since I only currently have 9 months experience? ANYTHING WILL HELP! I'm stressing!
