Anyone doing the parttime route for lpn to rn starting the end of August?

What happens to the Ohio test site?

I am not able to go out of state. I have been enrolled with EC since last November, just finished my last pre req and was studying for the first exam when I heard the news the as of September there will no longer be testing sites in Madison. As I stated before the determining factor for me to even consider EC was because of the testing sire being where I live. Looking into ISU now. Again because is is online and the clinical will be in my area Thanks

The whole reason I went with EC is because I live in Madison and wouldnt have to travel.

I wonder why they don't make info available to students? The initial reason I found out is I saw it on Facebook then emailed EC who confirmed it. Just happy it was before I wasted any more $ on starting the exam route.

I guess maybe its a good thing in my case, since most places are looking for BSN. ISU isnt accepted in 12 states compared to the 15 for Excelsior...... not that I plan on moving to any of those states, but it is good to know. Thanks

I am so mad. I did all my pre reqs and was starting to study for exams. The only reason I was going this route is because I live in Madison. Does anyone have any opinions on ISU lpn to bsn. Looks like that's my only other option in order to not have to go out of state! Here is the response I received from the school when I asked them directly. * After September 30, 2015 we will no longer be testing in Madison, WI. The estimated waiting time to take the CPNE is about 7-8 months from the time your completed application is received. So do I have to pay and schedule an exam to get to the info needed?

How do I get a book list and stuff to get ready for exams ect.?

Do you have a link for the right site? Is is study guide 101 or my study group 101 or study group 101???? Is the content guide from Excelsior or the study 101? Also all my transcripts were received before I even took the first 2 classes. They will just review them right? Thanks Thanks Thanks

Yes, I wanted to get everything I could completed before spending the $ on enrolling. I only had to do info lit and contemporary math. So should just have the nursing classes left. Also do not have to do nurse 105 because of my lpn being under 5 years.

Just enrolled for the nursing program, hoping I choose the right on when it asked for either as or aas.....I choose aas? Now what, do I just wait for a counselor to get a hold of me and how long does that usually take? Super excited to get started with transitions first as I will just follow the order excelsior has them in. Thanks
