My friend was offered a job at midtown in Cardiac Care

Yup! Me too! which is why it's funny, cause they thanked me for interviewing. Whoopsies.

Not to burst anyone's bubble but I got the follow up emails too and I didn't even end up interviewing which I think is really funny.

I'm kind of confused as to why it's so long. I applied to Vanderbilt in September after I applied to Emory in August and have already been hired and will be starting there. I don't know why the process has taken so long to get to this point and we haven't even been interviewed yet.

I mean our pay is on par with Birmingham, Chattanooga, and I think pretty even still within Nashville. Some of these other hospitals only have like $1 shift diffs too. ATL is around $22 I think and in Montgomery, AL they actually pay $18 so that's awful. It's all just about cost of living, which looking at apt prices I do feel like we should get a little more, but oh well.

I lied I got accepted into progressive track. I was too excited I can't read my email.

Mine says that too and I checked before than and it hadn't changed. I hope this is a good sign! Especially since it was changed finally on November!

I did ED, med/surg, and transplant. I'm also external so whatever. I just wish I knew something that was happening with my application.
