  1. Congratulations, everyone! Merry Christmas!
  2. Does anyone know if Drexel's program is immediate acceptance, or are there requirements for the BSN program?
  3. Thanks J, I really appreciate it -- it was a nice little gift right before Christmas. As for the Drexel application process, Tina Heuges is the lady to speak with. She's great and really helps you through the entire process. If you wanted to get a head start before talking with her, the website is: www.drexel.com/jointdegree.
  4. Hello all I just received my acceptance letter for Fall 2015! If the scores reflect anything from last years' TEAS scores, the lowest I saw that got in off the waitlist were in the ~50s. I have no idea how low they will be this year, but Nancy told me the scores this year were very similar to last years so fingers crossed for all. Also, if you're doing the AS to BS joint degree with Drexel -- which I'm sure most are -- be sure to get in contact with an adviser so you can get your financial aid and classes situated before fall. I spoke with Tina Heuges (very nice lady), and she got me started on the application process. Good luck and congratulations to everyone who received their letters. For those still waiting, don'ts lose hope on hearing positive news back. I genuinely feel as though everyone who applied has a fairly good chance of being accepted. Merry Christmas, ya'll. Stay in touch! - Dustin
  5. Hey Dani, thanks for the response. I scored an 89.4% on the reading, but I am going to retake the test to try and boost my score into the mid-80s. Do you have any idea if what the cut off score usually is? Also, do you have any advice preparing for the first year? thanks!
  6. Hey everyone I'm going to be petitioning for DCCC's 2015 nursing program. I recently just finished my TEAS (80.6%) and still waiting from the state about my clearances. In the mean time, I was told to take the TEAS one more time to "lock myself in" the day program at the Marple campus. Still debating that, but at this point it really can't hurt to sit through one more testing session. Anyway, has anyone petitioned up to this point? It might be a little early to hear back (supposedly December-ish), but it could happen. I just wanted to get a feel for some TEAS scores, maybe get a little feedback/advice from the other nursing students that just completed their first year, etc. Thanks all, and good luck!
