Well Chickie714, I am 52 and just started in a full-time BSN program. It seems like all of my classmates are kids, my daughters are older than most of them. Regardless, I am enjoying the learning and I'm not focusing on the age difference. I've even had several other students ask me for help, so make the most of your experience and jump right in.
I work full time as a paramedic and I am in classes full time in a BSN program. The unique aspect of my job is that I can complete homework between EMS calls, which is important because I work 48-72 hours a week. You can do it, you just have to manage your time well. So far I'm doing well in my classes and I expect to graduate a semester early.
41 is only old if you think you are old. I'm 51and just started nursing school, but I have been a paramedic for 12 years. I would say go for it because it's never too late to learn.
