  2. Hi, I hope that someone can help me with some information. I am doing my degree in health education and management, and I have an assignment to do where I have to compare the basic nursing education systems in america with those of african countries and I can't seem to find the info on the american systems. Can anyone tell me to look for that info. Many thanks geertje
  3. One of my worst or funniest, depending on how you look at it, was an elderly man who was admitted into the medical ward with pneumonia who decided one day to stand on his bed and try and hit imaginary flies with urine, there he was weeing all over the place and making a hell of a mess which I had to clean up later. A close second was the elderly gent who decided to jerk off in time to music and then promptly ejaculated all over the wall and floor again I had to do the cleaning, the life of a junior nurse
  4. I did midwifery initially because it was expected of me, I ended up loving every minute of the course. I did the course over one year in a midwifery hospital in Cape Town, that enhanced the whole experience. If it is a course that you want to study, do it you won't regret it, I didn't.Geertje
  5. God even in SA that is harsh, fight it and then move on, the hospital doesn't deserve your services if they can't support you when you make a honest mistake, nobody is perfect all the time
