  1. Hi im in the Day program, and just finished 101. The workload is that of 4 classes. Very intense so I don't think you should take any classes with 101. Take them in the summer.. Good luck and congrats
  2. congrats!! I'm just finishing 101 and its been a rough one, and I'm anticipating it getting rougher
  3. your banner wont change until you do orientation and they clear your paper work. they will give you a pink slip to take to registra for official acceptance into the program. good luck
  4. There is no interview, just orientation and clearing your paper work which. They give you a take home math test and tell you to get your physical done before you start classes. They also give you a list of stuff to get. Example uniforms and recommended reading material.
  5. Nope, I'm just taking N101.... It's a workload of 3 classes combined
  6. Hi everyone, I'm in the program. I got in with a 3.68 GPA and a Teas test score of 78. I just want to tell you this program is extremely vigorous, hard, time consuming. You definitely have to work part time while in the program but it's doable. Brush shy up on basic math because sometime in the program you will have to do a Calculation of dosage test without a calculator. also if you want to get an early start on your reading I can email you the reading list for the program :))) So far I love the program, faculty and the fellow students in my section. Cheers and good luck to all p.s. Don't mind my spelling errors, typing from my phone
  7. your stats look good, you will definitely be accepted not based on GPA but Based on Teas score. Advance will guarantee you a seat. Good luck
  8. I'm in section C..... anyone else?
  9. Are you still waiting, few of my classmates got their letter on Monday and got it.
  10. yea that was nice of them
  11. NCC gave me a shoutout.... Thanks NCC much appreciated
  12. no i have Hecta, very good!
  13. yes I attend NCC part time and I'm now completing Mirco Biology. So I will only need to concentrate on my core Nursing classes
  14. Yea 2 mins from NCC And you?
  15. my friend who is on the nursing board advised me that its based on a point system. 1. Area you live in = certain amount of points (Nassau county residents get the most point) 2. Gpa = [4.0-3.8], [3.7-3.6] and [3.5 and below] (all brackets have specific points) 3. Teas Score = [exemplary] [advanced] and [proficient] each rank has their own set of points And they they will tally up all the point and pic the first 64 people (computer generated so no will get favoritism) This info comes from someone who is on the board
  16. but your score is still proficient, getting in is like playing lotto
  17. My stats are AP1 B+ psch A comp 1 B+ Stat A Teas V 67.3 This is what got me into the program
  18. My letter said the same thing about Sept but trust me I will be there on the 15th at 11. For those who didn't get in, don't be discouraged this is my second time applying, so keep the faith
