  1. I am a senior nursing student about to begin my precetorship in OB. I am really excited but at the same time I am SUPER nervous for several reasons. One, I am working nights (which I've never done before) and two, I feel like I've forgotten a lot from over the summer. Not to mention, my OB clinical was a joke. We were barley allowed to touch our patients so I feel like I didn't learn much of anything on the clinical side (I learned A TON in theroy though). Can someone give me some tips on starting my preceptorship?? Things to do and maybe things to NOT do? What are some things I should focus on for KNOWING my first day on OB unit? Thanks!
