  1. Soo...I'm a pre-nursing student at CSUEB, and my first quarter I got a 1.74 GPA and now this quarter I have a 1.75. I have a C- in a prerequisite (ENGLISH). Does this mean I will not qualify for the nursing program; because the english class isn't on the grade forgiveness list. Any input would help, thanks.
  2. Awesome! Did you enjoy the program and I figured I would be behind due to my remedial math classes, but now I feel more at ease knowing I can still apply my junior year if I get waitlisted for classes. What are some tips you'd reccomend for getting into the program besides GPA? And do all the courses in the pre-reqs have to be specifically the one listed online or can we take other courses to replace them? And thank-you :)
  3. Thank-you, I will schedule the appointment asap :)
  4. Hi, I'm a college freshman soon to be attending CSUEB and I am a bit confused about when I am supposed to apply for nursing school? I recently got my classes chosen by the counselor and I know they are more towards my general ed than my pre-reqs. I was told by a nursing student that we apply the beginning of our sophomore year, but do we have to and if we don't have all our pre-requisites complete do I have to wait to apply my junior year? If so, to add a class for each quarter to make sure I get all of it done. -Thank-you :)
