  1. I was constantly checking my cane link too before finding out.. But, I got an email telling me to check it as soon as it posted on there. So keep checking your email! (If you aren't already doing that) it definitely is short notice, but you'll find out soon enough! Good luck!
  2. My thoughts exactly. Hopefully that's the logic and we can get housing. Were you added to the fb page?
  3. Me too, I called today and the guy I spoke to wasn't sure if ABSN students qualify for housing? I hope so though, it would be less stressful!
  4. Does everyone have their living arrangements figured out? This is the stressful part for me because I live 6 hours away right now.
  5. Oh okay, good to know it isn't just me lol thanks!
  6. I paid my admissions deposit on canelink earlier, and my status changed from admitted to incomplete -_- did this happen to anyone else? I don't think it is that big of a deal though.
  7. Same here - waiting to be added to the fb group!
  8. Aggio, just go on their website and create a cane link. It will give you a number to call once you get to the point where you have a user ID/ have to enter a password. Then you have to call they will give you a temp password, you set your own, then you will have access. This may not be the exact instructions but from what I remember doing it went something like this lol.
  9. I got in! :) excited.. I will be adding the Fb page asap! Lol
  10. Congrats @amanda.disla! I would go with UNF if I were you (congrats on that as well, heard that is really hard to get into!) .. Moving is definitely a hassle but if you can avoid all of that extra debt, why not? Even with living expenses in jax + tuition for the length of the program would probably not even total $40k (I live in jax & went to UNF, cost of living is much lower and they have student apartments really close to campus for very affordable prices.) But it depends on lots of factors, I am sure you will figure it out. At least you have the options! Congrats again. Good luck.
  11. Congrats @Krysty0214! Did you get acceptance through the mail or cane link?
  12. @tabularawsa Just a heads up, I called the school today and spoke with admissions. She said due to weather conditions nursingcas is behind (it is in Massachusetts).. so verification might take longer. BUT she said that it does not have to be verified for them to make a decision (idk if you knew that, but I didn't!). & That they will be reviewing applications next week and decisions will be out that following week. Hope this helps!
  13. Congrats @canesdan! It's so exciting hearing about acceptances!
  14. @tabularawsa have you been verified yet? If not I'm sure this week sometime! I think immediately after verification they have access to the app? (UM) from my understanding..
  15. @risser CONGRATS! So happy for you, now I'm anxious! I've been pretty patient but now I can't wait to find out. Go you!!
  16. I'm in the verification process right now. So soon enough they'll have my app. Guess I'll be in the next wave of decisions! Good luck to those who should be hearing next week! I have no doubts you guys will be accepted :)
  17. @me10 you actually don't submit an app to UM directly. The app is through nursingCAS. If you go to the accelerated BSN page on UM's website and click "apply now" it will direct you to where you apply. But I'm not sure that they've started accepting apps for 2016 yet.
  18. Thanks @mandaaleiigh! Your comments have been really helpful. I wish I had known the paper wasn't necessary I would have been sent it! Sigh.. Oh well. I thought I read somewhere that they needed transcripts but then again I have looked at many programs, I may be mixing things up LOL. Well everything is done now, so time to wait!
  19. Thanks! @charming_kitty! I found the answer under FAQ's I was determined to find out ASAP so ready to submit lol. But wow, did your transcripts finally get received and processed?!
  20. Hey everybody! I've been trying to make sure everything is perfect lol, it says my application is ready to submit (I know I'm taking forever) BUT .. my transcripts weren't received from nursingCAS yet, do I pay & submit or wait? & I know we have to send transcripts to UM directly, I'm guessing that is a step to take after acceptance though right?
  21. I am finally finalizing my application, I had to actually bring the transcript form to one of the schools I've attended and honestly I've been dragging my feet. But, I finally have that all squared away. Time is flying so in no time I am sure we will be hearing about acceptance from all of the programs.. good luck everyone! Anybody have everything completely submitted?
  22. I think they just choose the highest grade. Does anyone know if there is a recommendation form for the academic letter of recommendation? & where do we submit that??
  23. @Mandaaleiigh I'm not sure about how long they take with admissions but judging by previous cohorts they start accepting people before the deadline, so it is good to have it in early. That is if they are still doing it that way! Your stats are great! I wouldn't worry about the program you were in before hindering your acceptance. Good luck! Please keep us posted I will do the same.
