I kept a tally, because to me every time I got a SATA I did a little happy dance inside. lol. They say that you will feel like you failed, and that you feel like you guessed on over half of them. I'm confident that you did fine if you thought through each question! The two day wait is so nerve wracking, you will have to come back and let me know what you find out! Best of luck in these next two days!

Both times I had a ton of priority and delegation. I knew I failed the first time because it shut off at 76 questions and I had a tally going of how many SATA. I had 7 SATA in the 76 questions I had, I just wasn't confident at all! The second time i did 230 questions and had 45 SATA and 3 drag and drop. How many questions did you get and do you feel like you had alot of SATA? Do you remember your last question and the answer you chose, they say if the last question you answered was answered right then you passed. Don't try the PVT because that is no longer right.

Good luck to you as you start the studying over again. It sucks, I know but I know you will do great! :) I read Saunders cover to cover and I feel like that really helped me better understand the content and made me much more confident in picking an answer. Don't give up on your dream, it is just taking a little longer to get there but believe me when you get there it will be worth it! :)

Don't be nervous, how did you feel walking out of the test? Your gut feelings are almost always right! My gut told me I passed and I should have listened to it rather than being down on myself and thinking I failed after reading stories online! Please be confident in yourself, you got this! :)

I believe I did the 5th edition Saunders Book, but am not 100% positive! I read the Kaplan Review book too just to help learn how to answer NCLEX style questions. You most definitely do have it in you, and you will do great the second time! Have confidence and be positive in yourself and your answer choices. I am terrible with picking an answer than changing it, go with your gut! You have got this! :)

Hello, I have taken NCLEX twice and one was recently. DO NOT TRY THE PVT TRICK. The Pearson Vue trick no longer woks! It has been made so everyone gets the CC page. Stay calm and have confidence in yourself! :)

Hello, My name is Jordan and I told myself that after I took boards and passed I was going to share my story to help others who are having to take boards for a second time. NCLEX #1 --> I took NCLEX for the first time in July, and let me tell you I was so nervous and scared. Everyone in my graduating class had been posting that they had passed, which made it even worse for me. I studied from NCSBN course and VATI (virtual ATI) and that was pretty much it. I read a little bit of content, and did questions constantly. I felt as if I was prepared, but I get high anxiety when it comes to stressful tests like NCLEX. So I tested in the afternoon, which is not good if you get anxiety because that means you have all day to sit and think about this awful test. My computer shut off at 76 questions, and I immediately knew that I had failed. I waited the two days, paid the $7.95 to read FAIL. I was so devastated, but I knew I had to pass this test or I would never forgive myself. NCLEX #2 --> I took a week break from the first time finding out I had failed just to gather my thoughts, relax and to figure out a study plan. This time I read the whole Saunder's book, took an exam in every content area on the CD and made sure that if I scored low I reviewed and took another exam. I also bought a Prioritization and delegation book and did every single question in the book. The prioritization book helps alot in giving reasons as to why this person should be seen first which is an area I knew I struggled in. I also continued to work with VATI until the day before I was scheduled to test. I tested the second time in August. I made sure to schedule my appointment for first thing in the morning, so that the anxiety level was not very high. I walked into the test center feeling confident and telling myself "You will pass!!" I sat down, took a break after every so many questions. I got to 75 and hit next and it kept going; initially I thought "oh no, it's going to shut off at 76 again." Well it didn't. So I kept going and kept staying as calm as I could. I got to question 230 and it shut off. I walked out of there feeling confident that I had passed, but then being the anxious person I am, tried PVT and Board of Nursing tricks. Come to find out the CC page pops up, leaving me devastated. I do further investigation that the PVT trick no longer works and that everyone gets the CC page. So my positivity kicks back in again. I decide to stop trying tricks and to just wait two days..The two days comes and I pay the $7.95 again and I see "PASS" I cried from tears of joy and happiness. My advice for you two time test takers is to stay calm and confident. If you believe in yourself and your knowledge you will pass this test! I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post a response on if I passed or not. Well, the verdict is I PASSED!! It was a stressful two days, but it was well worth it!

Hello, My name is Jordan and I recently took the NCLEX RN Exam for the second time yesterday. I felt confident after leaving the test compared to the first time I tested when I knew that I had failed. I am looking for reassurance and positivity lol I had around 230 questions with 45 select all that apply and 3 drag and drop. To me that seems like a very high number and a very good thing! But then there is part of me that is like omg I failed. I have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out the for sure pass/fail but would like any input on people passing at this question amount etc. The pearson vue trick is no longer correct because it takes everyone to the credit card page. So please, any reassurance and insite is greatly appreciated to help calm my nerves until tomorrow morning! Thank you!
