The piggy back threw me off and the set up is different than the other questions in this area. Thank you so much, I was getting so frustrated and it just wasn't clicking tonight. They have a few other piggy back practice problems I can try in my study packet, I'm going to attempt the, now, thank you so much again.
I had been setting up my proportions by: mg mg __=__ X ml/hr but that obviously doesn't work with this problem. I have searched google for help so even a link that is a tutorial would be wonderful. I'm feel super discouraged. It's been almost a year since I've taken medical math so I am a little rusty :-(. Most of it came back but I'm drawing a blank with this :-(.
I have the answer key to this, and I'm doing fine with everything else but the two piggy back questions have me stumped. I have a test Monday for this and this is the only section I feel unsure about. Can anyone explain to me how to set up the proportion for this? 15. Order: 2 g Keflin IV piggyback in 100 ml D5W over 30 mins.
