  1. They are WASC accredited and have been for many years.
  2. Yes I am in a BSN program. Thank you so much for this advice and encouragement! :) This really helps. How long have you been a NP for?
  3. Hello everyone, I am considering becoming a nurse practitioner. I'm still in nursing school but I want to get as much information early on. If you have an advice or tips please feel free to post any!
  4. The post was originally for people who go to West Coast and could give me positive input from their experience there. I have heard enough negativity about for profit schools. I just wanted to hear the other side of it. Thanks for everyone who has put positive input on here.
  5. Thank you so much for your input. I just see a lot of negativity towards For profit schools and I wanted to hear the other side of it. I wish you the best of luck with whichever school you decide and throughout your nursing program! :)
  6. Hello everyone, This post is for people who have or are attending West Coast University. I see a lot of people post on here say avoid for profit private schools and that when applying for jobs these hospitals will be hesitant at hiring you because of your education at a for profit private school. So what I'm trying to ask is why did you decide to attend West Coast University? With all this negativity towards these Universities, I would like to hear some positive input about them.
  7. This was VERY helpful. Thank you so much for taking out your time to give me this great advice. How long have you been a nurse for?
  8. Hello everyone, I am starting my nursing program in about two months. I have heard many things about my upcoming program but I thought I would post on here to ask for more advice. If you were to go back before your nursing program what advice would you like to hear before starting?
  9. Thankyou for this post! I am starting nursing school in November and still deciding if I want to become a NP after I graduate. All this information from the replies have been very helpful for me. Thankyou again.
