  1. You can defer your student loans, I was awarded this year, but between the time I had filled out the application and heard back I had decided to go back to school. So when I was awarded my loans were in deferment (in school).
  2. I have been a long time reader of this forum and just wanted to share a little about my application for the loan repayment. I had applied in 2013, but was under review until the last day and then received my rejection notice on 10/1/13. I reapplied this year, with about the same stats 200% D/I and tier 1. I received my notice to accept the reward on 7/28/14, then the second signature on 8/11/14 and my welcome information on Saturday 8/16/14. I feel blessed to receive the award, but want people to know that if they don't receive it this year to keep applying, I know that I was down last year after being rejected. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason to when the sent out information or doing the final approval. Best of luck to everybody.
