I really want to become a registered nurse and am considering attending Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in Fresno for their LVN program. The reason being because I don't have to have a CNA license before attending, but I'm wondering, is $30,000.00 too much for a 14 month LVN program? The adult schools in my area offer CNA training for $850 for 14 weeks and then the LVN program for $15,000.00 for 18 months. Also, the Golden Living Center in Fresno offers free CNA training, all I would pay for is the books and I guess work for them for a period of time. I'm so confused as to which would be the better route. Go for the expensive school (Diploma Program) or take the CNA> LVN> RN route? Please help
