How much time did those of you get to respond to the email when you were notified of being a finalist? I was sent an email on July 31 at 6:30pm stating I had an update that was time sensitive and I had until 8/3 to respond. As it turns out, it was to tell me I was a finalist and I had to tell them if I was going to accept the award. I was on vacation (and didn't know to be checking email or that I would have such a short time to respond) and didn't see the notice until 8/5. I was physically sick. When I called they said there was nothing I could do, but that they usually give 5 business days. Since my notice went out over the weekend, I asked her to notify the committee that I didn't get 5 BUSINESS days. By some miracle, they sent back my COI yesterday and I was able to accept the award! I am so grateful and thankful. But curious how much time everyone else received to respond. When I called today to thank them for helping me last week, the guy said that they would review my application for errors (which they usually don't find) and I will change from applicant to participant in a couple weeks. \ Good luck to all of those waiting to hear. This is the second year I applied - I'm a nurse practitioner and was in Tier 1.
