I received my email to notify me that I'm a finalist last night! Last week I realized that I had missed an email notifying me of the award -- I was on vacation and didn't think to check my email. When I called customer service they said the only thing I could do is apply next year... Miraculously they resent my COI last night and I was able to confirm my intent to accept the award. Will feel better when it's confirmed and I'm changed to 'participant'. The guy I talked to at customer service said it usually takes 2 weeks and I will be changed from applicant to participant (after final review, assuming no errors; he said they usually don't have errors and usually this means you will receive the award). Good luck to everyone still waiting!
  2. How much time did those of you get to respond to the email when you were notified of being a finalist? I was sent an email on July 31 at 6:30pm stating I had an update that was time sensitive and I had until 8/3 to respond. As it turns out, it was to tell me I was a finalist and I had to tell them if I was going to accept the award. I was on vacation (and didn't know to be checking email or that I would have such a short time to respond) and didn't see the notice until 8/5. I was physically sick. When I called they said there was nothing I could do, but that they usually give 5 business days. Since my notice went out over the weekend, I asked her to notify the committee that I didn't get 5 BUSINESS days. By some miracle, they sent back my COI yesterday and I was able to accept the award! I am so grateful and thankful. But curious how much time everyone else received to respond. When I called today to thank them for helping me last week, the guy said that they would review my application for errors (which they usually don't find) and I will change from applicant to participant in a couple weeks. \ Good luck to all of those waiting to hear. This is the second year I applied - I'm a nurse practitioner and was in Tier 1.
