hello, i applied lvn job online thru the internet, after a wk they called, scheduled me for an interview then the night after they called again for orientation, it just happened so fast, now its my 5 day training, i am handling 24 patient in a nsg facility, med pass, charting, doctors order, labs, etc, i dont know if i can all do this on my own, i know they told me that its really hard when your new and starting, yes i understand, is it really 1:24 ratio for nsg homes?what can you advise?im trying to still look for home health jobs, and based from my research their employees resigned and transfered to a gov healthcare jobs thats why theyre really hiring, very much in need of lvn. im thinking theyre overworked in this facility. i dont know if ill continue the training, or should i continue be an lvn, i dont really enjoy this job as much as i should, i want a career that i would love to do everyday not stressing me out so much, should i change my career?i dont know what to do, i find it really hard😢😢

Congrats sayo! :) Took my Nclex rn nov 4, received my letter today and I failed. But I wont stop until I get that license! Thank you for the encouragement, I also love visiting this site, this gives me hope! Btw, do you know if foreign grads like us from Phi graduates of 2009, will still have to take classes? Coz Im hearing only graduates of 2010 and up are going to do that, I dont have any idea, I applied at NY that's why I was able to get ATT and take the exams, but Im residing here in Cali. thank you everyone for your time! now i am planning to apply for lvn license, that i will be sure enough not to worry about having my cali license without any restrictions, but ill still pursue that rn license.

Hi everyone! I am just so confused. I already applied for nclex-rn in ny last yr, i chose ny since i still dont have ssn and they allow applications without ssn, now i am scheduled for my nclex test. my problem is that i live in cali and i already got my ssn, if ever and i hope i will pass this test and apply for reciprocity from ny rn-license to cali, do i still have to study some nursing subjects here in cali for me to be have cali rn license? thank you in advance to those who will help me.
