  1. I don't want to give much detail but if you got accepted initially please keep an eye on your TCC email today. Especially if you recieved a letter
  2. I talked to my mother in law who is an attorney and since they sent you a letter you might have some legal recourse. I just thought I would give you that information. I did not get in again either even with my 83. I think their should be some serious reprimands for this mistake.
  3. That isn't fair, there are far fewer spots for almost the same amount of applicants. If the issue is it did not weight correctly then it does not give the highest scoring people the same chance as they had before. The letters should not hold anymore weight then what was posted on the website when it was drawn. You think you should be given a spot in the Fall because they had time Thursday to send your letters out but Winter people are just out of luck? Documentation is important in all aspects of life but so is being fair. Which in order to be fair to everybody they have to redo it all or keep the initial results and tell everybody it was a lottery so it is still random. The other idea is good because all people can an equal chance for fall and winter and for people already drawn get a guaranteed spot in spring if they lose.
  4. That sounds like a brilliant idea!!
  5. honestly they need to stop telling people anything till they have a solution.
  6. I am also not sure why the letter matters. I have a copy of the results they posted. It says on the website that even 2-42 and odd 1-47 are winners and are in. If they are going to honor the letters they need to honor the results they posted. At this point it only seems fair to redo the lottery for everybody.
  7. Any idea on a solution timeline?
  8. Does anyone have any updates?
  9. She said that they would have to rerun it, then they have to rerun it for everybody, so I am curious to see what they do. That would be a whole other issue if they did not rerun everybody and I would have a huge issue with that. I hope this all works out for everybody. I am just going to cross my fingers and hope for the best. I also want to wish all of you the best of luck in the redraw if thats what they decide to do.
  10. I agree but I do have a high waited score of 83 so thats why I thought I got in. I have gone though the scores and realize that the system did not work right. There are a lot of lower scores that got in including a 46 so I do understand where you are coming from. I was confused as to why the 46 got drawn before my 83 as well.
  11. Well that sucks, I think they are going to be dealing with this mistake for awhile!
  12. Did she say we would find out what is gonna happen or there would be a resolution by Thursday?
  13. My opinion is that they should juts keep the results they have because if they did not validate before posting that is their fault!!
  14. What did she tell you? She told me that we should have something in writing by the end of the day. They need to resolve this quickly. I am just gonna cross my fingers and hope that my luck continues for the next draw.
  15. For TCC students I spoke with program secretary today and the lottery did not work right. The math department is looking into it but they may have to rerun it. This stinks because I was accepted to winter:-(
