Be Prepared
I wish that was our grading scale!

Some of Us Are Trying to Help You...
We had a student dropped from our program for assisting a nurse with a task - mostly just observing, actually, but the instructor found out they handed some equipment to the nurse during the procedure and they were gone. You're an awesome nurse, OP, but I couldn't justify the risk, personally.

Sticky situation .. What would you do?
How light were the markings? I've never had that problem and I don't press that hard when I fill them out. I would go up the chain of command, personally.

how many of you actually read all the chapters?
I read the assigned chapters, and write up chapter outlines that I take to lecture and I highlight everything the instructor talks about and notes what she emphasizes. It's time consuming but so far I've gotten above 95% on every test.

shaky hands
I wish I had some advice for you; I've had shaky hands my entire life. I've gotten to the point where I get incredibly anxious when performing tasks because I know my hands will shake, which of course makes them shake more

How does everyone else survive while you go to school?
Our program recommends that we don't work, and if we do to keep it under 20 hours a week. They won't penalize people who work more than that, though. I don't work, so to save money I make cheap meals ($2-$3) in the crockpot every night and my husband and I divide the leftovers up for lunch the next day. We have tracfones that we buy minutes for once a year, so we have no monthly cell phone bills to worry about. Every little bit helps.
