NCLEX exam issues
No problem Actually this is what they asked from me (I digged through my records for yah) - Clinical portion of transcript (clinical record reflecting exact dates, locations, procedures performed and instructor signatures, etc). For that document to be released by my school, I need to show them my RLE manual to verify it. So yeah, to answer your question, even though the BON only asked for my clinical portion of transcript directly sent from my school I had to fax a copy of RLE manual to them so they could use it as a guide and verify it.

I saw your PM shesanurse! Unfortunately all nurses wouldn't let me send a PM back since I haven't been so active here. Anyway, I replied to your post here. Hope that helps í ½í¸‰

NCLEX exam issues
Hi shesanurse! Just to give you an idea of my background, I graduated March 2012 in Cebu. Had 2 years of experience in a hospital 2013-2015. Migrated to California April 2015. From the moment I got here I applied for my SSN right away so I could go ahead and submit my application for NCLEX in CA (note that before I came here I have already prepped my requirements and documentations needed for the application. I requested all the necessary paperworks from my school but I left the SSN section blank). Submitted my application late April 2015. Got a feedback around June-July asking me to send some supporting documents (detailed cases and academic calendar). Sent back the docs around late July. Then got my eligibility around September. I don't know what really happened or why I got my eligibility right away but it must be because my cases in DR and OR are almost concurrent to the curriculum. We were exposed really early. We had alternate clinical and school schedules. I think that could be the reason why. How about you?

I know this is kind of a late response but I would just like to inform you that I am already a licensed CA RN now! Whoo. Im so happy. Submitted requirements April 2015, got my ATT September and took my NCLEX in December. Now, I am looking for RN positions in a hospital setting. I hope I could land a job soon :) Thanks for your advises.

Methodist Hospital in Arcadia- New Grad Program
Hi guys! I have submitted my application for a Critical Care RN position at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia last month, February. Got an email 2-3 weeks after that there has been an update on the job requirements I applied to and that if I am still interested in the position I should reapply online. So I did! I resubmitted my application yesterday, 3/11/2016. Has anyone of you applied for their new grad program? I really hope I would get a call for an interview in this hospital. I have also applied for a new grad program at PIH Whittier and St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. Didn't get any response yet thought. Good luck to us! Hope we land a job soon :)

A Filipino RN wanting to get a California RN license
Hi. I just got here in California 5 months ago and I wanted to pursue my nursing career here but first I need to be a licensed California RN. I'm an RN in Philippines with 2 years experience in a clinical setting. I've already submitted my application to the CA-BRN 5 months ago and I still haven't gotten any response regarding my eligibility to take the test except for telling me that I needed to submit more documents from my school. I am also aware that because of the concurrency issue I might have to go back to school but finding a school that accepts foreigner students to take some classes (like MS and OB) is hard unless you are willing to pay at least $10,000. I am wondering what path should I take? Shall I continue going on the RN path or shall I go the LVN path? I just really want to become a nurse because I enjoy being a nurse but now it seems like it'a going to take some time before I could become one. Suggestions and recommendations are very much appreciated.

NCLEX exam issues
Hi good afternoon. I have already registered online in your website. But i do have more questions and i hope you can give me answers to this. I really appreciate it. Ive been planning to work in California. However in order to be eligible for the exam I need to have an SSN which i do not have yet. So your specialist suggested to take another state instead. My question is which other state do you suggest that i would apply for if I want to work in California at a later time. I heard that endorsing a license from one state to California is hard and also requires same documents. Also another question. I am already planning to go to California by next year (hopefully, in God's perfect time) with the fiancee visa and soon converting it as an immigrant. Would it be wiser to take the NCLEX exam here or should i just wait til I get there. Im just concerned about the requirements
